This book reflected the work of Rudy Vanderlans and Zuzana Licko, founders of the Emigre publication. I wanted to represent both their design aesthetic and their attitude towards emerging technologies. The book was printed on 11"x17" newsprint as a nod to the Emigre publications, and features fonts from the Emigre type foundry. In the spirit of Rudy and Zuzana's embracing of new technologies, the book used augmented reality through the app Aurasma to unlock extra layers of content for the reader.
